Eugenie Bouchard finds a quality practice partner in Victoria Azarenka at Wimbledon

WIMBLEDON – Perhaps it all started with a selfie during the WTA Tour's pre-Wimbledon party.

At any rate, two days later, Canada's Genie Bouchard and Victoria Azarenka, who is coming back from a foot injury, had a pretty intense practice on Court 18 at the All-England Club.

Here's what it looked like.

Bouchard didn't have the best preparation for the grass-court Grand Slam. She pulled out of the first warmup event when her knees were barking at her a little after the long, successful clay-court season.

And she lost her first match at the second tournament, in s'-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands, last week.

But she's looking just fine at the moment. She had a warmup session on the practice courts at adjacent Aorangi Park, then the practice set with Azarenka on Court 18, then another session back at the practice courts later before calling it a day.
