Surly cyclist snaps bike in half after crash near the finish line

Cyclist snaps bike in half after crashing out

Don't make Jeremy Santucci angry. You wouldn't like Jeremy Santucci when he's angry.

During the Red Hook Criterium, the last run in a series of races around the globe, the angry cyclist was just a few hundred yards away from the finish line when he was brought down in a multi-cycle crash.

Santucci, as you no doubt have guessed, was none too thrilled with the unceremonious end to his race. So he got up, picked up his bike, and slammed it to the ground in a herculean display of rage.

Making matters worse is the fact that the bike doesn't even belong to Santucci. A friend had loaned him the bike while Santucci's was reportedly in the shop.

"When you heart rate is above 190 and you train all year for finals and get crashed out ... there are a lot of feelings running through you," Santuccishared on Facebook.
