INDIAN WELLS, Calif. – The Gretzky family support for Canadian tennis star Genie Bouchard Saturday at the BNP Paribas Open was no one-time thing.

Sunday, Canadian hockey legend Wayne Gretzky dropped 12-year-old daughter Emma off at Court 8, where an already warmed-up Bouchard was ready to take her on.

Here's what she looked like; mother Janet Jones Gretzky told Eh Game that Emma had only been serious about it for about six months.

Papa Wayne missed the entire thing, having had trouble getting back through the gates. Mrs. Gretzky was more stressed about this than he was.

Emma, who turns 13 on two weeks, is the youngest of the five Gretzky kids, with 27-year-old big sister Paulina by far the one who has received the most attention. There are also brothers Tristan (age 15), Ty (25) and Trevor (23).

Before Emma arrived, Bouchard had already practiced some 45 minutes, working on net approaches and volleys for the most part.

She faces No. 12 seed Timea Bacsinszky of Switzerland in the third round Monday, third match on the stadium court (likely around 3 p.m. local time, 6 p.m. EDT).

If Bouchard can win that, she would take on the winner of a match between old junior rival Monica Puig of Puerto Rico and up-and-coming teenager Daria Kasatkina of Russia for a place in the quarter-finals.
