Video (discretion advised): Deon Lacey realizes fingers don't bend that way

The Ottawa Redblacks' 45-37 overtime win over the Edmonton Eskimos Saturday had plenty of great offensive plays and spectacular moments, but it also saw several notable injuries. Ottawa quarterback Henry Burris went down, as did Edmonton corner Patrick Watkins, but the one that looked the worst on television was a late one to Eskimos' linebacker Deon Lacey. After a tackle, Lacey got up and saw that his finger wasn't where it was supposed to be. Here's video of that realization from The Cauldron: viewer discretion advised.

That looks incredibly painful, especially given the expression on his face. Hopefully, Lacey, who's in his third season with the Eskimos following a college career at West Alabama and a brief stint with the NFL's Dallas Cowboys, will be able to recover quickly. He's an important piece for Edmonton, especially considering their defensive losses this offseason, and they'll be eager to get him back.
