WHL Roundup: Draisaitl scores in shootout as Prince Albert rallies past Edmonton

EDMONTON - Leon Draisaitl scored the lone shootout goal to help the Prince Albert Raiders complete a 3-2 comeback against the Edmonton Oil Kings in the only Western Hockey League game Tuesday.

Reid Gardiner's power-play goal with 17 seconds left forced extra time for the Raiders (7-4-1), who moved into a tie with Medicine Hat for first in the Eastern Conference.

Carson Perreaux also scored for Prince Albert and Cole Cheveldave made 37 saves in net.

Curtis Lazar and Mitchell Moroz had singles for the Oil Kings (4-5-1), while Tristan Jarry stopped 30 shots.
