New signing from Liverpool
Bobby Clark joins Salzburg
FC Red Bull Salzburg have made a signing from Liverpool! 19-year-old English talent Bobby Clark is swapping Anfield for our Red Bulls, signing a contract to 30 June 2029.
Another Salzburg - Liverpool move
The English U20 international, who we have been following for a long time, has real attacking strengths and over the last two seasons made 14 competitive appearances for Liverpool, scoring a goal and providing two assists. He recently suffered a minor back injury, which limited his playing time last season, but he is fully recovered now.
Bobby Clark has become the second player to move from Liverpool to Salzburg after Peter Gulacsi, while Sadio Mane, Takumi Minamino, Naby Keita and Dominik Szoboszlai have moved the other way around (directly or indirectly). Clark will wear the number 10 shirt under his former coach Pepijn Lijnders in Austria.

Bobby Clark is a highly talented player with huge potential, who will improve further with us due to his ability. He has developed mostly at Liverpool, has played in the first team there and knows our coach well, as a result. That is definitely a reason we have managed to sign Bobby for FC Red Bull Salzburg.
I am pleased to be taking this step in my career, and I can hardly wait to get out onto the pitch with my new team-mates. It is the perfect move to the perfect club for me. I saw at Liverpool the kind of players that are developed in Salzburg like Sadio Mane and Dominik Szoboszlai, and they were a big inspiration for me. Everyone knows how great the prospects are for young players here. I also know Pep Lijnders from Liverpool, of course, and the fact he is the coach here influenced my decision.
