Riders to make game time decision on Durant

Saskatchewan Roughriders head coach Cory Chamblin says putting quarterback Darian Durant back on the field is going to be a game time decision.

"I want to sit down with Darian, see exactly how he is and see how he feels, and then I'll make that decision," said Chamblin.

Durant suffered a sprain to this right foot in Saskatchewan's 39-28 win last week over the Toronto Argonauts.

"It's okay," said Durant. "It's not 100 per cent but it feels good enough to go out there and make a couple plays if I have to, so, it just depends on what we want to risk and we'll see."

The team's main quarterback said he'll discuss how things are feeling with Ivan Gutfried, the Director of Athletic Therapy, and Chamblin Sunday morning.

Durant added that a week off with no games has helped him rest his foot and heal.

"Sometimes you wake up in the morning and you're feeling ten times better and sometime it's worse than it was the day before."

The team does have the option of scratching him late Sunday, in which case quarterback Drew Willy would start. The Riders take on the Hamilton Tiger-Cats at home on Taylor Field at 5 p.m. CST Sunday.
