Sources: Clippers meet with Lamar Odom
Doc Rivers and other members of Los Angeles Clippers management met with Lamar Odom for nearly two hours following practice on Friday at the team's facilities, sources told Yahoo Sports.
"Everyone was shocked, but it was a good surprise," one Clippers source said of Odom's appearance.
Odom’s life has been in disarray since last offseason after allegations of drug use, an August arrest on a DUI charge and consistent appearances in tabloid headlines with his wife, Khloe Kardashian.

Rivers received a strong review about Odom's locker room presence from former Clippers coach Vinny Del Negro prior to his offseason problems. But once Odom's issues became public, the Clippers opted to sign Antawn Jamison to a one-year deal.
Odom, 34, averaged a career-low four points and 5.9 rebounds in a career-low 19.7 minutes last season for the Clippers. Odom appeared to be in good shape, a source said.
The Clippers could use more frontline help and have one roster spot available.
