Gaudreau, Muzzin earn $2,000 fines for diving/embellishment (Video)
The NHL has fined Johnny Gaudreau and Jake Muzzin $2,000 each after both received second citations for diving/embellishment this season.
Gaudreau was first caught during a Dec. 23 game against the Vancouver Canucks and earned his fine after the Hockey Operation Department saw this dive against the New York Islanders on Sunday.
Muzzin was first warned after a violation way back in October and had been a good boy until last Saturday when he sold this high-sticking call on Michael Chaput of the Canucks:
Gaudreau and Muzzin now join Keith Yandle, Evgeny Kuznetsov and Oliver Ekman-Larsson as NHL players fined for diving/embellishment this season.
