After the play, where Radulov crunched the Chicago pivot, Anisimov went down in pain. He stayed on the ice for several moments and needed help to get to his feet. After the game, a 4-2 Chicago win, Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville said Anisimov was “day-to-day” and that the injury was “not serious.”

“Yeah, it didn’t look great,” Quenneville said. “Sometimes you never know.”

Earlier in the game, Anisimov picked up an assist on a goal by Patrick Kane to set a new career high with 45 points in a single season.

Anisimov centers arguably the best line in hockey with Kane and Artemi Panarin on his wings and his two-way nature is a big reason why Kane and Panarin have been able to score at such high levels the last two years.
