David Luiz holds Bernard's hand like he is a small child as they board Brazil's plane

On Thursday, Brazil flew from their Rio training base to Sao Paulo, where they will face Serbia on Friday evening in their final friendly before attempting to win the World Cup for the sixth time.

The Brazilian football association (CBF) captured the journey for prosperity on their YouTube channel, hoping to capture the Selecao stars playing some samba music and David Luiz doing something hilarious. They delivered on both fronts.

While getting off the team coach to board the garishly decorated plane, the Chelsea defender decides to hold Bernard's hand, as if the Shakhtar Donetsk winger is a small child who might get lost if someone doesn't hold on to him. If Luiz had more time and resources, he might have also given him a giant lollipop and a beanie propeller hat, but as it stands, we still get the joke: Bernard is really short.

As he walks past the camera, Bernard says "Cara chato veio," which essentially means "what an annoying dude." The resignation in his voice suggests he knows he's about to be shoved in an overhead bin.

Meanwhile, Lucas Leiva wasn't lucky enough to earn a place on that plane —in a seat or an overhead bin — but at least he's been having fun lassoing cows on his cattle ranch...
