Justin Bieber tweets Canadian gymnast, makes her day
You want a reminder that while Olympic gymnasts are top athletes, they're also just teenagers? Check out what happened when teen pop sensation Justin Bieber tweeted fellow Canadian Dominique Pegg.
First, the Bieber tweet:
@domip3gg sorry im late 2 the party. want to let you know as a proud canadian Im always supporting you and proud of you. STAND UP CANADA! :)
— Justin Bieber (@justinbieber) July 29, 2012
Now, Pegg's response:
@justinbieber OMG thank you so much for tweeting me!! Thank you for teaching me to never give up on my dreams! #lookatusnow! #believe!

Pegg and her teammates will compete in the team final on Tuesday after earning eighth place during qualifications. She will also compete in the all-around, and thought Bieber may want to stop by and give them a little inspiration.
Hey @justinbieber, are you gunna come watch us at team finals tomorrow? I'm sure I can get u a pass to get in ;) #TeamCanada #gymnastics

Quite a smart young lady to strike while the iron is hot. C'mon, Biebs. Head to London for the team final. Support your country and make a whole arena full of fans happy.
