Pass or turd burger: Buffalo’s new third jerseys

It has been a really rough season thus far for the Buffalo Sabres. If Rom-Coms have taught us anything, it's when the going gets tough, the tough GET'S A MAKEOVER!

This makeover began back in October when Buffalo's captain Steve Ott (still feels weird to say it) tweeted out a picture of himself wearing the new third jersey and then tubes of the Internet exploded. All the insanity ended in a quote from Sabres team president Ted Black that will live on forever:

"If it's a turd burger I'll have to put it on a bun and eat it."

Mr. Black, it's dinner time. The Sabres officially debuted the third jersey on Sunday's matinee versus the Red Wings.

So, pass or turd burger?

There are only a couple additions. First, the word 'BUFFALO' in teeny-tiny font is above the standard logo of a Buffalo about to be chopped in half by two scissor-like swords. The big change is the dual colored jersey. Twinkies on the front, shame and sadness for eating said Twinkies on the back.

Hmm...Twinkies. TWINKIES!

Coco Chanel once said, "Fashion fades, only style remains the same." The Sabres might have taken the quote a bit too literally. They didn't have to smush together parts of every Nashville Predators jersey ever produced!
