Newsday’s Arthur Staple tweeted Grabovski was hurt after a second period collision.

Grabovski hasn’t played a near full 82-game season since 2010-11 with the Toronto Maple Leafs, when he scored 29 goals and notched 58 points in 81 games played. With the Capitals in 2013-14 he played 58 games and just 51 a year ago with the Islanders.

Grabovksi, 31, has eight points (five goals and three assists) in 19 games played in 2015-16. He’s in the second season of a five-year $20 million contract.
