Josh Harding’s toque goalie mask is the coolest of the season (Photo)

Minnesota Wild netminder Josh Harding is no stranger to creative designs for his masks. When an equipment truck fire burned almost everything inside, including Harding's mask, his new lid paid homage to the Ottawa Fire Department, who helped put out the blaze. After the tragic summer of 2011, he honored those lost on his mask for that season.

Teaming up again with mask artist Todd Miska, Harding has gone with a toque look for 2013-14.

From In Goal Mag:

This impressive design has been painted in a style that reflects the woollen texture of the toque, complete with a Bauer logo which appears sewn on and even the classic ‘pom pom’ on top. We’d love to see more goalies with [Jose] Theodore’s actual toque on top, but with those reserved only for outdoor games, this might be the next best thing.

Well, now it's settled. When the Wild host one of the Stadium Series games next year -- let's face it, they have to at this point -- Harding has to go with the Jose Theodore look from the original Heritage Classic in 2003 and rock the actual toque on top of his mask.
