Corey Tropp undresses Penguins’ Maatta to score stunning goal (Video)

We'll be concluding our Puck Daddy year in review on December 31st with the goals of the year, and someone must have leaked our schedule to Corey Tropp of the Columbus Blue Jackets. (Either that, or he made a logical assumption, since that's just about the only countdown we haven't done yet.)

During Sunday night's game between Columbus and Pittsburgh, Tropp gave us a late entry, completing an undressing so thorough, it's a wonder he made it back to the bench without someone stuffing some money into his shorts.

Man alive. Tropp turned his man inside out like the kid in Looper.

His man, by the way, would be rookie d-man Olli Määttä, who played a turnstile here for the second time in a week. Määttä also played the patsy on this similar highlight reel goal from Erik Karlsson on December 23rd.

This'll happen against the best players in the world, but even still, you might want to work on your footwork a little there, guy.

On the bright side, the goal wouldn't cost the Penguins in the end. While it tied the game up at two, Pittsburgh would go on to win, 5-3.
