The Cleveland Cavaliers are sticking with the Comic Sans
We all have our preferences, and the Cleveland Cavaliers have clearly stated theirs.
They don't want to rebuild, figuring that the additions of Ramon Sessions(notes) and, um, Joey Graham(notes) will be enough to stem the tide in LeBron James'(notes) absence. Their owner still thinks they'll win a championship before a team with James, Dwyane Wade(notes) and Chris Bosh(notes) ever will. And boy, do they like Comic Sans.
That's the CAVS.COM ad on Cleveland's new court setup. And, as was Dan Gilbert's scathing letter to LeBron James from last July, it's written in Comic Sans.
You'd like to give the Cavs credit, thinking that they put together some winking mention of the Comic Sans to poke fun at themselves and have fun with the whole incident, but ... no. I'd like to think that, but I'm not going to.
