2012 MasterCard Memorial Cup: Shawinigan Cataractes-Edmonton Oil Kings tiebreaker game livechat, 7 p.m. ET/5 p.m.

SHAWINIGAN, Que. — The Shawinigan Cataractes and Edmonton Oil Kings, each down to their last strike, square off Thursday in the MasterCard Memorial Cup tiebreaker game.

Please join the BTN crew of Cam Charron, Sunaya Sapurji, Terry Doyle and Neate Sager for a livechat of all the action at 7 p.m. ET/5 p.m. MT/4 p.m. PT. The Oil Kings believe they have refueled following a pair of somewhat desultory losses on Monday and Tuesday to Saint John and London. They need a breakout from their power play, whose power play is a Rickie Weeks-like 1-for-14 funk. More consistency from goalie Laurent Brossoit would also come in handy for the westerners.

The Cataractes, carrying the hopes of their small-market fanbase, are hopeful they can win on no rest and keep their championship ambition alive. Edmonton won 4-3 when the teams played Friday but much water has passed under the bridge in the week or so since. The Cataractes will stick with overage Gabriel Girard in goal.

See you soonly and remember to bring your own peanuts.
