2012 MasterCard Memorial Cup: London Knights players throw punches from bench during late skirmish (VIDEO)

SHAWINIGAN, Que. — The game didn't go the London Knights' way, so they acted out, plain and simple.

The last 10 seconds of actual game time at the end of the Shawinigan Cataractes' 6-2 win at the MasterCard Memorial Cup seemed to take forever and a day to complete. It takes two to tango but the Knights probably came off worse after forwards Greg McKegg and Matt Rupert punched Cataractes fourth-liner Alexander Grandmaison with 2.5 seconds left in the game.

No penalties were assessed to McKegg and Rupert. None of the coaches and players seemed willing to speak about it following the game. It's something the Cataractes will surely remember if they meet London again in the tournament.

"That's junior hockey," Cats captain Michaël Bournival said.
