Rosie MacLennan, Canadian gold medallist, gets some Twitter love from Samuel L. Jackson

Before I encourage you to follow Samuel L. Jackson's Twitter feed, I need to offer this warning:

"Profanity-laced tweets are likely. Tweeter discretion is advised."

It's now been established that actor Samuel L. Jackson is going bonkers for the Olympics. He's spreading the love, internationally, too, not just saving it for his American countrymen and women.

Canada's Rosie MacLennan got his attention, as Jackson sent out this tweet Sunday.

Okay, Sam may have thought it was a team thing and was offering props to Karen Cockburn as well, I suppose. Cockburn, of course, just missed the podium, while MacLennan won the whole shebang. And she noticed the shout out from the A-list star of films like Pulp Fiction, Star Wars and Jackie Brown:

MacLennan also received some Twitter love from Justin Bieber. Let that be a lesson to Canadian swimmer Julia Wilkinson, who tried, unsuccessfully, to land a tweet from the Biebs.

Just win. That seems to get his attention.

Jackson's Twitter feed has garnered a lot of attention, as he seems to be transfixed by all that is going on in London.

As mentioned, if you give him a follow, be sure you can take it. His observations are often chock full of profane exhortations. He's particularly fond of a word that rhymes with "mothercanuckin'." You know, the word that he used so famously in the movie "Snakes On A Plane." Below, you can see a hilarious TV overdub of that famous line.
