Player Notes
Giancarlo Stanton is back in the Marlins' starting lineup Thursday versus the Braves.

Advice: He will start in right field and bat fifth against right-hander Josh Collmenter. Stanton has been in and out of the starting lineup since returning September 6 from a Grade 3 groin strain. He has also yet to play a full nine innings and will probably be pulled early again on Thursday, but the towering slugger is obviously capable of big things while he's in there.

Giancarlo Stanton is out of the Marlins' starting lineup Wednesday versus the Nationals.

Advice: Stanton has homered in two straight games, but he's still not able to play a full nine innings as he works his way back from a Grade 3 groin strain. The big slugger will be available off the bench Wednesday, with Ichiro Suzuki drawing the start in right field.

Giancarlo Stanton homered for the second straight game Tuesday, launching a solo shot for the Marlins' lone run in a win over the Nationals.

Advice: Stanton returned to the lineup last Friday but has only played three of five contests since then, and no full games. However, he's still managed to make an impact with a couple homers and four walks. Stanton was lifted after six innings Tuesday and it's unclear when or if he'll be allowed to play a full nine innings down the stretch, but the 26-year-old slugger still looks capable of helping out fantasy owners.

Giancarlo Stanton is in the Marlins' lineup again Tuesday against the Nationals.

Advice: This will be his first time in the lineup for back-to-back days since returning from his groin injury. Stanton slugged a long homer on Monday and is capable of being a difference-maker for those fantasy owners who have been patient.
