90'+4'
Though they were not in control of events throughout, a depleted Milan displayed the clinical nature that made them champions in May; picking off plucky Monza at San Siro. A brilliant first-half brace by Diaz - who subsequently limped off injured - was followed by two further strikes after the break, while the visitors at least had some reward for an improved performance in the second half when Ranocchia found the net with an ambitious free-kick. Not a classic, by any means, but victory takes the Rossoneri level on points with Serie A leaders Napoli for now.
