    Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag gave an update on Bruno Fernandes' future at the club after speculation he may leave. The Portugal international has insisted he will stay at Old Trafford, if they'll have him, but rumours have swirled that Bayern Munich and Inter Milan are among the clubs linked with the influential 29-year-old. Ten Hag was adamant United don't want to let him go after he played a significant role in the Red Devils’ 3-2 victory over Newcastle on Wednesday, 15 May.

    Soccer-India stalwart Chhetri announces international retirement

    India captain Sunil Chhetri, the country's most prolific scorer, will retire from international football after the World Cup qualifier against Kuwait on June 6, the 39-year-old announced on Thursday. Chhetri has been the face of Indian soccer for nearly a decade-and-half and his 94 international goals make him the third-highest active international goalscorer after Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. "It was not that I was feeling tired," Chhetri said in a video he posted on social media.

(AP) — Rafael Navarro scored on a penalty kick after Vancouver's Bjørn Inge Utvik drew a red card during first-half stoppage time and Zack Steffen made it stand up as the Rapids beat the Whitecaps 1-0 on Wednesday night. Utvik, a rookie defender making his fourth start and sixth appearance, drew a hand ball foul following a video review. Navarro converted the PK in the fifth minute of stoppage time with a right-footed shot to the bottom right corner of the net. Navarro is 4
