Nottingham Forest secure their first Premier League victory of the season by beating West Ham United 1-0 at the City Ground. Taiwo Awoniyi's goal was enough to secure the three points for the home side, although they had to ride their luck at times. The Hammers will not believe they lost the game as Said Benrahma had a goal disallowed by VAR and then struck the bar in the second half. Pablo Fornals also hit the bar before Tomas Soucek was denied by Dean Henderson. To cap it off, Declan Rice missed a penalty after Scott McKenna was penalised for handball. It was not always pretty from Forest, but Steve Cooper and his team will not care one bit.
