Katy Perry debunks viral AI Met Gala photo
The Firework singer confirmed she didn't attend fashion's biggest night, and the photo of her with a rose-adorned gown was in fact, fake. She posted the photo on Instagram alongside the caption, "Couldn't make it to the MET, had to work." She also included screenshots of text messages from her mum, who had thought the images were of Katy. "Didn't know you went to the Met. What a gorgeous gown, you look like you are your own float lol." Katy replied saying, "Lol, mom the AI got you too, BEWARE!"
