Close doors, windows and your blinds to keep out the heat from the sun. Blackout blinds or curtains can be particularly effective. "The ideal temperature for sleep is around 18 degrees, so if you have air conditioning set it to a comfortable temperature that will help induce sleep." Use breathable bedding. Avoid heavy blankets and polyester material.
