    Tanzanian LNG project delayed as government seeks to change terms, sources say

    Negotiations for the development of Tanzania's $42 billion liquefied natural gas export plant have been delayed by proposed government changes to a financial agreement reached last year, two sources from companies involved in the project said. The government and investors announced last May they had completed negotiations on the long-delayed project to unlock Tanzania's vast offshore gas resources. Equinor and Shell are joint operators while Exxon Mobil, Pavilion Energy, Medco Energi and Tanzania's national oil company TPDC are partners.

    Drivers Urged to Take Alternate Route After Road Collapses in Palestine

    A section of a local road was closed in Palestine, Texas, on Sunday, May 4, due to a “cave in” transport officials said.The Texas Department of Transportation urged drivers to use an alternate route as Balloon Base Road was closed following damage.The Westside Fire Department said there were several county roads with water over them.Video from the Westside Fire Department shows the collapsed road.
