    Data connectivity company CData Software raises $350 million in Warburg Pincus-led funding

    CData did not disclose its valuation, but a source close to the deal said it was valued at over $800 million. Founded in 2016, North Carolina-based CData offers self-service data products and connectivity solutions that enable access to real-time data from both on-premises and cloud applications. Updata Partners, a technology-focused growth equity firm in Washington D.C. that invested $140 million in CData in 2021 and $20 million in 2020, will remain a significant investor.

    Russia says it is working on a big treaty with Iran

    Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Wednesday that Moscow was working on what she called a big treaty with Iran. Her comment appeared to be a reference to a comprehensive bilateral cooperation agreement that is being negotiated between Tehran and Moscow. In January, Russia's Foreign Ministry said that a new interstate treaty reflecting the "unprecedented upswing" in Russia-Iran ties was in the final stages of being agreed.
