France's Engie said its electric vehicle charging station business lost 22 million euros ($24 million) in the first quarter and will continue to lose money into next year. Engie has failed to find a buyer for troubled subsidiary EV Box and is now considering selling off the business piecemeal in a bid to limit its exposure, Engie CFO Pierre-Francois Riolacci said on Friday during company results. EV Box lost 140 million euros last year and is "trending toward that same amount" in 2024, he said, adding there would be more losses in 2025.
The jump in England and Wales coincided with the removal of a £90 administration fee to obtain a debt relief order.
