    Robinhood considering offering crypto futures in US, Europe, Bloomberg reports

    The commission-free trading app is hoping to use the licenses of crypto exchange Bitstamp, which it agreed to buy last month in a $200 million deal, once the transaction closes next year, the report said. It also wants to launch CME-based futures in the U.S. for Bitcoin and Ether. Robinhood Crypto was the driving force behind a massive first-quarter earnings beat in May, but the same week it also disclosed that it received a so-called Wells notice from the U.S. securities regulator over tokens traded on its platform.

    Ex-DUP leader Sir Jeffrey Donaldson facing seven more sex offence charges

    Former DUP leader Sir Jeffrey Donaldson is facing further sex offence charges, bringing the total to 18. The Northern Ireland politician has been charged with seven more offences after the Public Prosecution Service (PPS) reviewed the police evidence, as is the normal practice. When he appeared in court in April, the ex-MP was accused of 11 sex offences.

    Prosecutor won't oppose Trump sentencing delay in hush money case after high court immunity ruling

    Manhattan prosecutors said they would be open to delaying Donald Trump’s sentencing in his criminal hush money case following a Supreme Court's ruling that granted broad immunity protections to presidents. In a letter filed Tuesday, prosecutors with the Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office said they would be open to delaying the July 11 sentencing for up to two weeks. The letter came one day after Trump's attorney requested the judge delay the trial as he weighs the high court’s decision and how it could influence the New York case.
