'Enough grit to keep Scotland's roads clear for the Celtic juggernaut'

Fran: Tough conditions, tough tackling, tough night but a great goal from another dominant Celtic performance extends our lead at the top of the table. Long way to go yet but Celtic fans couldn't have hoped for a better start to the season playing some fantastic football. Aberdeen haven't been this good in years and we still beat them, Celtic will be difficult to stop now.

'Would have ripped your arm off for this amount of points so can't be too upset'

Lindsey: The game plan was clearly to press Celtic and give them no time on the ball - Graeme Shinnie and Sivert Nilsen were particularly good at this. This, and Aberdeen's defence, reduced Celtic's real chances to scraps, and Reo Hatate took one of the few. Kyogo Furuhashi should've been sent off as well.

Miller backs Dons to split Old Firm this season

Ex-Scotland striker Lee Miller believes Aberdeen will finish second in the Scottish Premiership this season, despite their recent winless run. The Dons are seven points behind league leaders Celtic and four ahead of Rangers in third - albeit both have a game in hand on Jimmy Thelin's side. "I think they will [finish second] only because Rangers are in Europe; I don't think they've got a squad to cope with that," he told the BBC's Scottish Football Podcast.
