    Kettlewell aiming for 'consistency' with Motherwell

    Stuart Kettlewell wants more consistency from his Motherwell side this season as they look to recreate the good run they enjoyed at the start of last year. "We started the league campaign excellently, had a poor run in the middle, and then some good form after the turn of the year," Kettlewell told Sky Sports. "We've proved we can compete with every single team in this league - we've taken points off everybody in my time - but it's about finding a consistency, not having big high moments with big fall offs."

    McFadyen returns to Dundee United

    Stacey McFadyen has returned to Dundee United after five years away from the club. The winger has spent two seasons with Dryburgh as well as a campaign with Montrose during her time away from Foundation Park. Goalkeeper Beth Mowatt, 20, has also joined the Tangerines this summer, having previously spent time with Forfar Farmington and Montrose.

    Spittal hopes for 'bigger things' at Hearts

    Blair Spittal believes he is "ready to push onto bigger things" as he heads into his first league season at Hearts. The ex-Motherwell midfielder signed a pre-contract with the Tynecastle club in March, having also enjoyed spells in the Scottish top-flight with Dundee United, Partick Thistle and Ross County. "I said when I signed, the position I play you are judged by how much you create, your goals and assists," Spittal told Sky Sports.
