Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman praised Antoine Griezmann after he played a starring role in his side's 4-0 La Liga win at home to Osasuna on Sunday, finally hitting form in a difficult second season with the Catalans. Barca's 120-million-euro forward had been profligate in the last home game against Real Betis, even though he did manage to score, and did little of note in last week's 1-0 defeat at former side Atletico Madrid. But he scored Barca's second goal against Osasuna with a thunderous volley and then laid on a pass for Philippe Coutinho to score the third, after he had served the Brazilian earlier in the game but seen his team mate's shot cleared off the line.

Lionel Messi paid an emotional tribute to Argentina legend Diego Maradona during Barcelona's 4-0 victory over Osasuna on Sunday. Messi celebrated his powerful strike from outside the box by taking off Barcelona's shirt to reveal the red-and-black of Maradona's shirt from his stint at Newell's Old Boys. Messi then blew a kiss with both hands to the sky as he looked upward.
Nearly thirteen years after scoring his first Serie A goal, Udinese forward Fernando Forestieri claimed a second on Sunday as his COVID-19-depleted side produced a shock 3-1 away win over Lazio. Tolgay Arslan and Ignacio Pussetto gave Udinese a 2-0 halftime lead before Forestieri fired the third in the 71st minute and Ciro Immobile pulled one back with a penalty. It was a remarkable performance by Udinese, who were missing coach Luca Gotti as well as a host of regular players.
