Mjallby not surprised by interest in 'immense' O'Riley

Johan Mjallby hopes Celtic can hang on to Matt O’Riley this summer, but expects the club to rake in a “very good chunk of money” if they decide the sell the midfielder. Denmark international O’Riley was subject of a January bid from Atletico Madrid and has also been linked with the likes of Inter Milan and Brighton. The 23-year-old is under contract until 2027 and Celtic could seek a similar fee to the Scottish record £25m they received from Arsenal for Kieran Tierney in 2019.
