The hurricane-displaced Miami Marlins finally get to go home - not a day too soon after the Milwaukee Brewers battered them on Sunday. Travis Shaw, Jesus Aguilar and Manny Pina each had two hits in Milwaukee's eight-run fourth inning, lifting the Brewers to a 10-3 victory. With two outs in the fourth and Milwaukee leading 1-0, Miami starter Dillon Peters (0-2) walked Woodruff (2-2) on five pitches to load the bases.

The Colorado Rockies continue what they hope will be a cakewalk to their first postseason appearance in eight years when they open a two-game road series Tuesday night against the last-place San Francisco Giants. The Rockies began a 12-game stretch of games against non-contenders by taking two of three at home from the National League West's fourth-place team, the San Diego Padres, in a series that ended Sunday. The Rockies then will open the final week of the regular season by hosting the Miami Marlins, a sub-.500 team from the NL East, for three games.
