Advice: That's the final game of the White Sox' first series at home. Sale threw a simulated game on Friday with no issues and could appear in a minor league game early next week. It's been four weeks since the left-hander suffered an avulsion fracture in his right foot and he's progressed without any setbacks.

Advice: It comes after he completed a bullpen session Wednesday with no issues. Sale is coming along nicely as he recovers from an avulsion fracture in his right foot and looks poised to rejoin the rotation by mid-April.

Advice: A previous report suggested that he would throw his bullpen session Tuesday, but Sale just had his days mixed up. In other words, it's not a setback with the avulsion fracture in his right foot. The next step calls for him to call a 75-pitch simulated game, which will likely take place this weekend. There's no clear timetable for his season debut, but sometime around mid-April appears realistic.

Advice: Sale performed a range of mobility drills on Monday and later told reporters that he feels like "a real baseball player again" after being shut down for three weeks with an avulsion fracture in his right foot. Sale won't be ready for Opening Day, but he should be in the White Sox rotation by the middle of April. If his bullpen session goes well Tuesday, he'll then throw a 75-pitch simulated game Friday to get back on track.

Advice: He came through Friday's mound sessions without any issues and is progressing nicely in his recovery from an avulsion fracture in his right foot. He would like to face live hitters before spring training ends, but he'll have to regain his mobility before he's cleared to do so. It looks as though he should be ready to join the White Sox rotation in mid-April.Rotoworld
Advice: It's the first time he's thrown at full effort since going down with an avulsion fracture in his right foot in late February. Sale is progressing on schedule and while he will not be ready for Opening Day, the left-hander could rejoin the rotation in mid-April.Rotoworld
