Player Notes
Adam Lind went 4-for-4 with two homers and six RBI to help propel the Mariners past the A's 13-3 on Wednesday.

Advice: Between his steady track record and the Mariners' fine start, Lind hasn't lost playing time to Dae Ho Lee at first base. He really should consider himself lucky, given that he entered the night with a .216/.246/.319 line. Of course, even if Lee does seem capable, Lind was always the better bet as a starter against righties. He should be solid from here on out.

Adam Lind hit a three-run homer off the Orioles' Tyler Wilson in Thursday's victory.

Advice: The opposite-field shot was aided a bit by the wind or probably would have been caught at the wall. Still, it was good hitting either way and we haven't seen much of that from Lind this year. He's at .224 with three homers and a 29/4 K/BB ratio in 107 at-bats. He's fortunate the Mariners have remained patient and haven't given his job to Dae-Ho Lee.
