    Man arrested following death of woman, 78, in Edinburgh

    A man has been arrested following the death of a 78-year-old woman in Edinburgh. Police Scotland said emergency services were called to a disturbance within a house in the capital's Fernieside Crescent at around 8.25am on Tuesday. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "This was an isolated incident and officers remain in the area to provide public reassurance and anyone with concerns should speak to officers."
