G Ray Allen had just five points in 31 minutes, but he and Mickael Pietrus tied for high scorer off the Celtics' bench. Ryan Hollins had the subs' only other two points as the Philadelphia bench outscored Boston's 44-12.

Allen (ankle) will play Friday in Game 4 of Boston's Eastern Conference semifinal at Philadelphia, NBA.com reports.Recommendation: Allen took just one shot in Game 3, but continues to average 10.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.3 treys, one assist, and one steal in 31.9 reserve minutes against the Sixers. Among his Celtic teammates, he is third on the team in plus-minus in the series with a plus-22, behind only Kevin Garnett (plus-47) and Avery Bradley (plus-23).
