Anaheim Ducks defenceman Kevin Bieksa just earned his second superman-punch knockout decision of the season. Yeah, I can’t believe I just typed that either, but here we are.

The Anaheim Ducks blueliner mashed Radko Gudas’ face with an absurd, leaping, MMA-style bomb in a game against Philadelphia back in October. On Saturday against the division rival Los Angeles Kings, Bieksa went right back to what worked in a tilt against Andy Andreoff.

It was a fiesty first frame overall in LA, as the Bieksa-Andreoff bout was the third scrap of the period. Mike Liambas and Kurtis MacDermid went at it it less than two minutes into the game, while Andrew Cogliano and Oscar Fantenberg exchanged pleasantries just moments later.
