LIZ LOZA: DJ Moore and Robby Anderson, which of these Carolina Panther receivers am I prioritizing in fantasy? Well, spoiler alert, I tend to prioritize value, so my answer is gonna be Robby Anderson. But let's talk about why.

Because DJ Moore is absolutely an athletic marvel. I mean, this guy is entering his fourth season in the league, and we are still talking about his SPARQ score. 92nd percentile, by the way. This is a player who was top six in deep targets. He averaged 18.1 yards per reception in 2020. All of that is exciting.

And because of that excitement, we, as fantasy managers, have a tendency to overlook perhaps some of his efficiency issues, like the fact that he recorded 10 drops-- wide receiver two in 2020-- or that he was wide receiver 55 in target separation. Now I don't like those metrics when I'm pairing him with Sam Darnold, a quarterback who has struggled with decision-making and accuracy over the length of his career.

Instead, I like Robby Anderson, who is the better value, who has rapport with Darnold, who was Darnold's favorite target in 2018 and 2019 back in New York. So, yeah, give me the cheaper guy who is also versatile and an incredible talent and who I think will clear 80 catches and manage six touchdowns.
