Wildfire Smoke Hangs Above Southern Saskatchewan

Smoke shrouded a town in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan on Wednesday, March 17, as firefighters fought dozens of active wildfires in several provinces.

Dallas Burnett said he filmed this footage looking down on Weyburn, a town in southern Saskatchewan near the US border, on Wednesday.

As of Thursday, there were 92 active wildfires burning in Alberta, 60 active wildfires burning in British Columbia, and 24 active wildfires burning in Saskatchewan, according to official dashboards. Credit: Dallas Burnett via Storyful
