Week 12 Player Props

Andy Behrens, Matt Harmon and Tank Williams offer up their favorite player props for Week 12.

Video Transcript

ANDY BEHRENS: All, right it's prop time, people. I wish I had a prop on Nathan Peterman interceptions today. But I don't think that's available just yet. You guys know the drill in this segment. We each discuss a favorite NFL prop bet, then we decide amongst ourselves if we like the over or the under. Tank, why don't you get us started?

TANK WILLIAMS: OK, let's start off with Terry McLaurin, over 4 and 1/2 receptions against the Atlanta Falcons defense. This Atlanta Falcons defense gives us the second-most fantasy points, two wide receivers, they have the fifth-highest completion percentage against them in the NFL. And they give up the second-most pass attempts against them. And I also feel like this is going to be a game where Taylor Heinicke is like, hell, Scary Terry's down there somewhere, and just throw it up and odds are likely it's going to happen more than five times or six or seven, whatever.

You know what I'm saying. He's going to have over 4 and 1/2 receptions. Harmon, are you following me, or you think that guy is going to be Curtis Samuel instead of Scary Terry?

MATT HARMON: Oh, buddy, just like we are on the same page at the Ham, and you know, maybe even hey, mix the ham in with the mac and cheese a little bit. Pork and mac and cheese, that is a match made in heaven. Taylor Heinicke, Terry McLaurin, that's a match made in wide receiver heaven, baby. I'm never going to fade a Terry McLaurin prop, especially against this team. Tank, the Falcons have four-- four quarterback hurries on the year. That's it. Dalton Del Don, shout out to him for that stat. Yeah, I'm definitely on the over with you on this one.

TANK WILLIAMS: All it takes is--

ANDY BEHRENS: This is going be a sweep.

TANK WILLIAMS: Remember in the high and low.

ANDY BEHRENS: Yeah, this is going to be-- this is going to be a sweep, by the way. There's no way that I'm bailing on Terry McLaurin right now. He's been absolute magic with Taylor Heinicke and the match-up, as Matt said, it's spectacular. Atlanta's been among the friendliest possible matchups to opposing wideouts and quarterbacks all season. So sure, five receptions, six, eight, it's going to be a big day for McLaurin and most Washington pass catchers, I would imagine.

My prop this week, I can't take Justin Fields. So I'm reeling. I don't know what to do. I've done it like three straight weeks. I've taken-- I've taken the rushing over, but I've got to go-- I've got to go somewhere else entirely because there's no Peterson prop available to me. I am going over on Amari Cooper, 52 and 1/2 receiving yards. So first of all, we get Amari Cooper at home this week where he is basically 1987 Jerry Rice. All he does is give you 100-yard games at home. He's averaging, like, 40 more yards in each home game than he is on the road.

He's been spectacular. He's got seven touchdowns on the year. He's facing a Bucs defense that, like, they're good, but this is no longer a stay-away defense for me. And this total is so low, Tampa Bay has allowed 11 different receivers to get there. I think-- I think Cooper becomes the 12th. Harmon, are you with me on this?

MATT HARMON: Look, spoiler alert. You've taken the lead in this little contest-- which, by the way, I hope you're happy with yourself, riding all these Justin Fields over props. So much of the point that you and the Chicago Bears got him hurt that you have to watch Nathan Peterman play for your team. So I think that's punishment enough.

ANDY BEHRENS: Don't put that on me. Don't you put that on me.

MATT HARMON: No, that is on-- that is on you for encouraging all these rushing props. That is on you.

TANK WILLIAMS: I concur.

MATT HARMON: You have to live with the consequences. Yeah, Hank and I are on the same page here.

TANK WILLIAMS: Preach, Harmon.

MATT HARMON: Listen, I'm going to actually take the under here on this one. I think the Bucs coming off a bye, big, big defensive bounceback performance. I think we can see that with what they did against Seattle Seahawks. You know, an admittedly weird field over there in Germany. I think they did a pretty good job shutting down that pass offense. I think Jacoby Brissett's last start this year goes out with a little bit of a whimper, and I know Amari Cooper at home, whatever, I'll still take the under here. Because strategically, it's the best thing for me to do in this contest.

ANDY BEHRENS: - Tank, come on, you know that-- you know that Amari Cooper at home is like 2007 Randy Moss, right?

TANK WILLIAMS: - True, but then Amari Cooper on the road just last week was balling out, too. And so when I look at it, this game has some inclement weather involved. I think it's supposed to rain. I thought the winds were going to get really high, but I think it's only going to be about 15 to 20 mile per hour winds, which may not be too bad. But I also agree with Harmon with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers coming off a bye, trying to get back on track, trying to secure that NFC South title, and also try to, you know, pave the way for the playoffs. I think they come back strong again this week against the Cleveland Browns.

I'm going to have to go with the under here, saying that mostly Bucs defense and a lot of the weather keeps them from hitting that number.

ANDY BEHRENS: - Oh, it's going to be that much more separation for me. Matt, what do you got this week?

MATT HARMON: - I don't love the-- I don't love the notion that Amari Cooper just sails to a little 60-yard gain. We're going to be feeling tough after this one. But, for my prop this week, I'm going over on Skyy Moore, 22 and 1/2. 22 and 1/2 receiving yards for Skyy Moore. The rookie looked really good last week to me, looked like he made some crucial catches. And he was involved early on, right? I know everybody-- all the Tony Bros-- were ready, and ready to roar last week. You know, whateve. Then, oh, by the way, yeah, he's still hurt. Acute gifts, right, with the Kevin Nash taking the blanket off of him? Real cute, yeah.

But he's still hurt. OK, that's still a problem. He's out this week. Mecole Hardman is on IR. Skyy Moore, I think, is going to hold a big role for this team. 22 and 1/2 receiving yards. He was targeted on 37 and 1/2 of his routes run last week. I think we see something similar. Tank, can we keep the love fest going here with me, you, and Skyy Moore, the rookie receiver for the Kansas City Chiefs?

TANK WILLIAMS: I mean, I agree. There's been a lot of love between us to start this day, but I don't love you that damn much. And I understand that. I mean, it's like 22 and 1/2 receiving yards. Yet, at the same time, JuJu is healthy, so JuJu is back. They're going to have MVS. We know Travis Kelce is the guy that he likes to lean on. And somehow, someway, I feel like Justin Watson is going to probably make his presence felt once again. So I'm just not sure if he's going to be integrated to this offense how we saw last week. And so with that being said, well, he's not the dependable guy that we know. We'll see. Week in, week out, I'm going to have to fade and hopefully differentiate myself enough to be number one next week.

ANDY BEHRENS: Oh, this is so tempting, because it's such a-- it's such a low number, and he's coming off, like, a legit good game.

TANK WILLIAMS: I know, right?

ANDY BEHRENS: Easily the best game of his season.

TANK WILLIAMS: I think you should take him.

ANDY BEHRENS: Yeah. Like you said, I think I will. I think-- You know what, you talked me into it, Tank. I'm going to take-- I'm going to take the over on this. It's just, man, this is such-- this is such a low total, he can do this on one catch. And again, six targets a week ago, and they're Patrick Mahomes targets. Yeah, yeah, I like the over here. You know what I really like is the current standings. I think we should bring those up. I think we should take a look at that. I don't know. I don't know, did we-- did we come up with a mercy rule in this contest? Because we got to be getting there, right?

TANK WILLIAMS: Oh, well, I guess I don't mind too much. I'm always down for a reverse Oreo.

ANDY BEHRENS: What is an Oreo?

MATT HARMON: What? Why am I-- why am I here? What? I don't understand. Why-- Tank and I have the exact same numbers.

TANK WILLIAMS: Because you like Tank in the middle of the best.

[LAUGHING]

ANDY BEHRENS: 22 points.

TANK WILLIAMS: Harmon, you see what happened, though, dog. All-- all our hatred between the two of us, and we just let this sneaky Reverend just sneak ahead of us. Now he's in first, and it's your fault.

ANDY BEHRENS: It's a fight for second now. Yeah, it's a fight for second now. I've separated myself. Tier of my own.

MATT HARMON: Disgusting.
