ANDY BEHRENS: Oh, yeah, we're back. It's that time again, and this is the lone segment in which you do not wish to appear ever, not once, not ever. This right here is where we discuss all your most agonizing fantasy losses. This is Fantasy Bad Beats.

Oh, the Monday Night beats were-- well, they weren't pleasant in week 12. Monday night delivered a bunch of weirdness. I mean, it was a Seattle game, so that was inevitable. But we got a blocked extra point returned the other way, which never happens. We had a touchdown that seemed like a touchdown that was reversed by replay. We had all kinds of madness in this game.

And we also had DK Metcalf, one of the most gifted receivers in the NFL, one of the most physically talented players in any sport on earth at this exact moment was nearly shut out. And I can understand it's a bad beat if you needed just anything from DK Metcalf and he failed to deliver for you, but imagine this scenario. Imagine that what you need is the unlikely situation in which DK Metcalf actually does nothing.

[GUITAR PLAYING]

Let's say that you're ahead but only by a point, maybe two points ahead of the team that has DK Metcalf, and as soon as he catches just one pass, you're going to lose.

[BUZZER]

And so you're imagining that your fantasy match-up is going to get decided in the first quarter, but then a quarter goes by and nothing happens. A half goes by and nothing happens. Three quarters of a game go by and nothing has happened. The score hasn't budged. You're still winning. DK Metcalf miraculously, crazily is getting shut out.

And then in the final two minutes of the game, basically with one minute to play, Russell Wilson connects with DK Metcalf on a 13-yard catch--

[GROAN]

--and you lose. That's what happened to Chris.

[LAUGHTER]

That's what happened to Eric. That's what happened to Gabriel.

[BUZZER]

All of them stayed awake through that nonsensical game all the way until the bitter end only to lose on a 13-yard catch to DK Metcalf.

Metcalf, by the way, is a little bit of a worry moving forward. He's got-- he's got eight receptions for 70 yards in his last three games.

[BOOING]

He's got some nice match-ups coming up, but he is getting difficult to trust at this point in the season. Anyway, I'm sorry to anybody who stayed away for that entire thing only to go down in flames in the final minute. That is just a brutal way to lose.
