Hello. My name is Tom Scott, and I'm a karate athlete. I'm from Richardson, Texas. And I'm currently training and grew up at the Academy of Classical Karate in Plano.

But I guess I would say a little bit about me is that I've been on Team USA for 10 years now, over 10 years. I've been to three Pan American games, which has been the pinnacle of our sport. But we're just so excited for karate's debut into the Olympic games.

And so it's-- it's a really exciting moment. As far as training, we were going once or twice a month international for three years there. And actually, I've been on my first airplane in an entire year, you know, a couple of weeks ago. And that's just been really refreshing.

So you know, we took a big break at least as far as travel, and just got to train, and learn to love your sport, and-- and do it because we like it. Instead of this burden of traveling and everything. So it's been really refreshing, and we're excited to-- to come into the final stages here.
