Thousands of students show off their skills on Orioles STEM Field Day

Thousands of Baltimore-area students took a special field trip Thursday to Oriole Park at Camden Yards. It's not every day that students get to brush up on their science, technology, engineering and math skills in front of 9,000 classmates. It was a field trip that didn't require pen or paper, but maybe a glove to help teach students a STEM education lesson. The elementary and middle school students started pouring into Camden Yards almost two hours before the first pitch of the Orioles-Angels game to take part in the annual STEM Education Day presented by WBAL-TV.
