Surprisingly Great Picks Week 6 - Marvin Jones Jr.

FFL Flash Alert - The Lions WR hasn't caught more than 4 passes in a game this year. Will today be a breakout?

- I'm going to get us rolling here with Lions receiver Marvin Jones, who has caught all of 12 passes this year, which has been quite a bit of a letdown, considering that people had hoped he was going to bounce back after an injury last year. But I think this is a good week to start Marvin Jones, because, listen, unless he's like totally cooked, I think this is a good spot for him against the Jacksonville Jaguars defense that's 32nd in passing success rate allowed.

And here's the key, Jones has been out in the field. He has been involved in the offense. He is running route on 96% of Matt Stafford's brought-backs.

Now, they're not popping off in terms of the deep passing game they are in Detroit. We-- last year Stafford was, like, leading the league in air yards when he was playing. That's not been the case this year, but I think this is a nice spot for the entire passing game to get right against a really bad Jags defense. Liz, who do you got under 25 [INAUDIBLE]?
