Stockton teen shot, killed by 16-year-old brother, police say

A 13-year-old died Friday after he was shot in Stockton by his 16-year-old brother, according to police. The shooting, which is being investigated as a possibly negligent discharge, happened around 1:58 a.m. inside a home on Flint and Connecticut avenues, police said. When officers arrived got there, they found the teen with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died from his injuries, police said.
