'Sizable Gap' Between Wilson and Seahawks

FOX Sports' Mike Garafolo reports a "sizable gap" remains between Russell Wilson and the Seahawks ahead of Friday's artificial extension deadline. Per Garafolo, "only significant concessions by one or both parties" will get a deal done. Garafolo reports the Seahawks have offered to make Wilson one of the three highest-paid quarterbacks in the league, and are willing to best Cam Newton's five-year, $103.8 million extension. That's not good enough for Wilson, who understands that historical precedent dictates he becomes the highest-paid player in the league, at least until Andrew Luck gets a new deal.
