School Board nominating commission members at odds

A Baltimore County community group charged with recommending prospective members of the Board of Education appears to be at odds over how to carry out its own duties. Some members of the Baltimore County School Board Nominating Commission are calling for a review of how it should conduct business. A disagreement appears to be over which names were selected to vie for an open seat on the board. There were initially four vacant seats on the Baltimore County Board of Education. All but one was filled from a list of eight names submitted to the governor for his approval.
